Welcome to Walk for Tiny Lives

We are pleased to announce the launch of Walk for Tiny Lives, the family friendly series of short walks to be enjoyed by all. We hope that thousands will join one of our existing walks or those who really want to help make a difference will decide to join the fun by creating their own Walk for Tiny Lives in their community. Please do get involved and help us stop the misery caused by premature birth.

Portsmouth families support first Walk

Our first Walk for Tiny Lives event took place in Portsmouth on Sunday (4 July). Ahead of the day local mum Kelly Morris told the Portsmouth News why her family would be taking part in the event and why research into premature birth is so important. She did a fantastic job, read her story here.

Stepping out in Portsmouth - more event news

The sun was shining for our first Walk for Tiny Lives event in Portsmouth on Sunday (4 July) and a lovely time was had by all. Our furry fundraising mascot Paddington Bear was on hand to greet walkers as they returned back into the Historic Dockyard.

Those who took part all had personal stories to tell about why the walk was important to them. Mum Kelly Morris, whose two daughters were both born prematurely, said: "We had a great day and everyone who I told about it who came did too. In fact it was brilliant and I would do it again tomorrow!"

Walks in Scotland & Suffolk this September

Make a date in your diaries for our Walk for Tiny Lives events in Scotland and Suffolk next month. The Scotland event takes place in Strathclyde Country Park, Lanarkshire, on Sunday 12 September and the Suffolk one in Nowton Park, Bury St Edmunds, on Sunday 26 September. Paddington Bear will be putting his best paw forward to support walkers at both of these events!
